Twindle is a daily arithmetic puzzle for iPhone, Android and the web. Two rows of five numbers sit one above the other with four empty slots between them, and you choose the plus, minus, times or divide signs that make both rows equal the same target. The operators are shared, so one answer has to work for two equations at once. There is one numbered daily puzzle for everyone, plus a 500-level campaign.
About Twindle: Daily Math Puzzle
The target sits in large type at the top of the screen, for example 10, with the two rows of numbers below it. Each row has four slots, and whatever operator you put in a slot applies to both rows in that position. Tap an operator chip at the bottom of the screen to fill the next empty slot, or drag a chip to any slot. When all four slots are filled the answer is checked by itself, and a solved row shows its total in green next to it. Undo takes back one move and Reset clears the board.
The home screen shows the day's puzzle as Daily with its number, your streak and the number of puzzles you have solved. Below it is the Campaign, 500 levels you can work through at your own pace. If you get stuck, a hint reveals one operator. After solving you can share a result grid that does not give the answer away. The daily puzzle changes at midnight UTC.
Twindle is made by Fan Wai Ho of Fireshark Tech in Hong Kong and came out in June 2026. It is free and needs no login. The Google Play version is marked as containing ads. The campaign can be played without an internet connection.

Tips
- Work on the row with the larger numbers first: it usually rules out more operator choices.
- Look at the last number in each row; if the target is close to it, the slots before it often cancel out with a plus and a minus.
- Check a guess against the second row before you fill the last slot; one row working is not enough.
- Save the hint for the slot you are least sure of, since it reveals one operator.
