MathDoku is an iPhone Calcudoku (KenKen-style) app with a free Daily Challenge each calendar day, the same puzzle for everyone. Fill each row and column with 1 to N without repeats while every outlined cage adds, subtracts, multiplies or divides to its target. 180 more levels run from 4x4 to 9x9.
About MathDoku — Number Puzzle
MathDoku, from BrainRash, is an arithmetic logic puzzle known as Calcudoku or KenKen; inside the app the screens are titled KenKen. Each grid holds the numbers 1 to N once in every row and column, and outlined cages give a target and an operation: the cells in a 20x cage multiply to 20, those in an 11+ cage add up to 11. Every puzzle has a single solution reached by deduction.
The home screen leads with the Daily Challenge, described as one puzzle for everyone today, with a streak counter; the one in the store pictures is a 6x6 grid. Beneath it sit 180 hand-made puzzles in six tiers, from Easy 4x4 to Grandmaster 9x9, with stars and best times that unlock the next tier. Hints point to the next deductive step without giving the answer, and there are undo, erase and reset buttons and a timer.
The app works fully offline with no account and no ads. It has five colour themes, Game Center leaderboards and achievements, a shareable solve card, and accessibility features including a colour-blind palette and VoiceOver. It is localized in eleven languages, with a right-to-left layout for Arabic.

Tips
- Start with single-cell cages: their target is the number itself.
- Big products in small cages allow few combinations; list them first.
- A two-cell subtraction or division cage limits pairs sharply, especially near the edges of the range.
- Use each row's and column's missing numbers together with cage totals to place the last digits.
