Abako Daily
Make the target from six numbers, four times a day.
Every day: Four new number challenges every day, the same for all players: reach a target with six numbers and the four operations; Sunday brings a boss round. New puzzle: Midnight on your device clock.

Abako Daily is a French daily mental arithmetic game in the style of the numbers round from Des chiffres et des lettres. Each day brings four draws, the same for everyone: six numbers and a target between 15 and 999 to reach with addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. There is no timer, and the week ends with a boss on Sunday.
About Abako Daily
Abako Daily is a free number game from abako.games, built in France by an independent developer. It is in French and English. Its page explains why it exists: the New York Times closed its number game Digits in August 2023, and French television dropped Des chiffres et des lettres, whose British version is Countdown, in 2024. Abako Daily gives mental arithmetic a daily slot again.
Every night at midnight, four new draws appear. In each one you get six numbers and a target between 15 and 999, and you build the target by combining the numbers with addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Each number can be used once. Hitting the exact count earns three stars. A game takes two or three minutes.
There is no clock, on purpose: the page argues that without the panic you look longer and find more. The four challenges of the day get harder from first to last, and the week gets harder day by day, the way some newspaper crosswords do, up to a boss on Sunday.
There is nothing to install, no account and no advertising. You can share your score as emoji without giving away the solution, keep a streak of days played, and look through the archive, which gives one possible solution for each past draw. Since August 2026 the day changes at midnight on each player's own calendar. It suits anyone who liked the numbers round on television or Digits and wants a short daily sum.
How to play Abako Daily
- Look at the six numbers and the target for the first challenge.
- Combine two numbers with addition, subtraction, multiplication or division to make a new number.
- Keep combining, using each number only once, until you reach the target or get as close as you can.
- Move on to the next of the day's four challenges, which get harder.
- Share your stars and come back the next day; on Sunday, face the boss.
Tips
- Work backwards from the target: look for a multiple of a large number that lands near it.
- Keep small numbers in reserve to fix the last few units.
- There is no timer, so check alternative routes before settling for a near miss.
