MakeTen
Three quick daily arithmetic puzzles: make 10, hit a target, find the missing operators.
Every day: Three dated arithmetic puzzles per day, the same for everyone: Make 10 (use every number once to make 10), Make X (build an expression that hits a target) and Make Exact Operations (find the operators that reach the target). New puzzle: At midnight UTC; the site shows the next puzzle time in your local time.

Make Ten is a small daily arithmetic site with three modes. Each day you get the same numbers as everyone else, start the clock, and try to reach the target fast enough to keep your streak.
About MakeTen
Make Ten offers three daily arithmetic puzzles in the browser. Make 10 gives you a set of numbers (on 2 October 2026 it was 6, 7, 7, 8, 9 and 4) and asks you to use every one exactly once with arithmetic operations to make 10. Make X asks you to build an expression that hits a given target, and Make Exact Operations asks you to find the operators that reach the target.
Each puzzle is tied to the date and changes at midnight UTC, so everyone plays the same numbers. The clock starts as soon as you press Start and the numbers and keypad appear. Solving inside the time limit keeps your streak going: 45 seconds for Make 10 and Make Exact Operations, one minute for Make X. The game keeps your games played, solves, win rate, streaks and best time.
It suits anyone who wants a short mental arithmetic workout.
How to play MakeTen
- Open Make Ten and pick a mode.
- Press Start; the clock begins and the day's numbers appear with a keypad.
- Combine the numbers with operations (and brackets) to reach the target, using each number as the mode requires.
- Solve within the time limit to keep your streak, then try the other two modes.
Tips
- Look for pairs that make a handy number first, such as 2 and 5 for 10, then fit the rest around them.
- Multiplication and division let you absorb awkward numbers: something times 1, or a number divided by itself.
- Have a rough plan before pressing Start, since the clock runs from the moment the numbers appear.
