NumUp
Reach the day's target from six numbers and four operations.
Every day: Six numbers and a three-digit target generated from the date, the same for everyone: combine the numbers with +, -, x and / to reach the target. New puzzle: Midnight, local time.

NumUp is a small daily arithmetic puzzle in the style of the Countdown numbers round. Each day gives six numbers, sometimes including 25, 50, 75 or 100, and a target between 100 and 999. You combine two numbers at a time with addition, subtraction, multiplication or division until you hit the target exactly.
About NumUp
NumUp shows a target number and six tiles. You pick a number, an operation, then another number, and the result becomes a new tile you can use again. Keep combining until one of your results equals the target. Undo steps back a move, and a Solution button shows one way to get there if you give up.
The numbers come from a fixed pool: up to two large numbers from 25, 50, 75 and 100, the rest from 1 to 10. The puzzle is generated from the date and checked to be solvable, so everyone gets the same one each day. Arrows next to the date let you step back to earlier puzzles, though not forward into the future, and your progress for each day is saved in the browser.
It is a free page on the personal games site of developer Vasanth, alongside a small arcade game called Looptap. It suits fans of the Countdown numbers game and anyone who wants a quick mental arithmetic workout.
How to play NumUp
- Open NumUp and note today's target and six numbers.
- Tap a number, then an operation (+, -, x or /), then another number.
- Use the new result tile in later steps; each original number is used once.
- Keep going until a result equals the target.
- Use Undo to step back, or Solution to see one answer.
Tips
- Get close with multiplication first, then fix the difference with small numbers.
- Large numbers like 25, 50 and 100 are useful for building the hundreds.
- Work backwards: what two numbers multiply to something near the target?
- Try the previous days with the arrows if today's comes quickly.
