Operator
Make the target from the day's numbers, then keep finding new ways to make it.
Every day: One daily target number and set of six numbers, the same for everyone; you build equations that hit the target, and your score is the share of the day's solutions you find, ranked on a daily leaderboard with an archive of past days. New puzzle: Once a day; past days are in a dated archive.

Operator is a daily arithmetic game on Ponder Club. You get a goal, such as 24, and six numbers around a dial; you build an equation with brackets and the four operations that hits the goal, then keep finding different solutions to fill the day's progress bar.
About Operator
Operator is one of the daily games on Ponder Club, the goose-themed puzzle site run by Flying Comet Games LLC. It started in the site's Labs section and became a full game in August 2026, with leaderboards, streaks and a daily archive.
Each day there is a goal number and six numbers arranged on a dial, with plus, minus, times and divide in the middle. You fill an equation slot (with a bracketed part) by tapping numbers and operators, and submit. Every correct equation counts toward a progress bar, because your score is the share of the day's possible solutions you find, and it keeps climbing as you find more. A Hint button and a Shuffle button help when you are stuck, and on desktop you can type digits and operators directly.
The page also has comments for each day and an archive of earlier puzzles.
It suits players who liked the 24 card game or Countdown's numbers round and want a puzzle that rewards finding every route, not just one.
How to play Operator
- Open Operator on ponderclub.co and look at the day's goal.
- Tap numbers and operators (or type them on desktop) to build an equation in the slots.
- Submit; a correct equation adds to your progress bar.
- Keep finding different solutions to raise your share of the day's total, then compare on the leaderboard.
Tips
- After your first solution, try swapping the operation inside the brackets.
- Multiplication paired with a small subtraction often lands near round targets like 24.
- Use Shuffle to see the numbers in a new arrangement when you run out of ideas.
