TOP DOG
A short, intense roguelike dogfighting game with daily-seeded operations and leaderboards.
Every day: Daily operations played on a shared daily seed, with score-attack leaderboards that reset every 36 hours. New puzzle: Every 36 hours (leaderboards).

TOP DOG is an arcade roguelike about air combat in a supersonic VTOL jet. Runs last 10 to 20 minutes, you upgrade your plane mid-flight, and its operations run on a daily seed with score-attack leaderboards that reset every 36 hours.
About TOP DOG
TOP DOG is an arcade game by MorfeoDev that left Early Access on Steam in January 2025, for Windows. It is built to run on ten-year-old hardware and to be quick to pick up.
You fly a strafe-capable supersonic VTOL fighter through short, randomised runs. Controls are deliberately simple: one fire button (hold for guns, tap for missiles), one target button that zooms in and helps you aim, and a thrust button with strafing to dodge enemy fire. Mid-flight you tech up and upgrade your plane, and three operations offer different length, intensity and score potential.
The daily part is the score attack. An April 2025 update made the First Strike and Endgame operations daily operations with a daily seed, so everyone flies the same run, and scores go on daily leaderboards that reset every 36 hours.
It supports mouse and keyboard with an FPS-like scheme, Xbox controllers, and HOTAS and other devices through Steam Input. It suits arcade flight fans and roguelike players who want a fast daily score to chase.

Tips
- Use strafing to dodge rather than turning away: it keeps your guns on target.
- Hold the target button for aim-assist in tight fights.
- Because the seed is shared, replays teach you where the tough waves are.
