StatesQuest
Pick the US state with the highest, the lowest or the exact value of the day's statistic.
Every day: Three new rounds each day at midnight UTC (highest value, lowest value and exact target) on US state statistics, identical for every player. New puzzle: Midnight UTC.

StatesQuest is a daily geography game about the 50 US states. Each day brings three rounds built on a statistic such as population, land area or household income: find the state with the highest value, the lowest, or the one matching a target figure. Fewer mistakes earn more stars.
About StatesQuest
StatesQuest is one of a family of daily geography and history games by a developer who signs as C3-Peyo, alongside TerraeQuest, HeatMapQuest, HistoriaQuest and CrossMapQuest. This one is about the United States: every challenge uses the 50 states and data drawn mainly from Wikipedia and public databases.
A new challenge is generated every day at midnight UTC and is the same for every player. It has three modes. MAXIMUM asks which of the states shown has the highest value on a statistic, MINIMUM asks for the lowest, and TARGET gives a figure (for example an urbanisation rate of 72 percent) and asks which state is closest to it. The states appear as cards with their flags.
Each wrong pick lowers the stars you can earn for that round, down to zero, but the round stays playable so you always see the answer. Stars turn into points, with a bonus for long streaks, and after each round a percentile shows how you did against others with the same score. A share card shows your stars without giving away answers.
There are weekly and monthly leaderboards, private leagues and a Weekly Survival mode with ten lives and the same sequence for everyone, resetting each Wednesday. A Premium tier adds unlimited Survival and archives. It suits people who like maps and numbers, and anyone who wants to learn which state really is the largest, richest or most urban.
How to play StatesQuest
- Open the daily puzzle and pick one of the three modes.
- Read the statistic and whether you need the highest, lowest or a target value.
- Tap the state card you think is right.
- If you miss, try again with fewer stars available, until you find the answer.

Tips
- Population and land area questions can surprise you: Alaska, Texas and California dominate area, while populations cluster in the east.
- In TARGET rounds, rule out the extremes first and compare the middle candidates.
- Play all three modes every day to keep your streak bonus growing.
