About Rumba: Binairo Plus Puzzle

Rumba is a Binairo Plus puzzle app for iPhone, iPad and Android. A grid is filled with two symbols under three rules: every row and column holds equal numbers of each, no more than two of the same symbol sit side by side, and an = between two cells means they match while an x means they differ. Every puzzle has one solution, reachable without guessing.

It comes from Guriddo, which also makes logic puzzle apps such as Hoshi, Akari and Lofi Sudoku, and appeared on the App Store in 2025. The app notes it has no connection to LinkedIn, whose Tango uses similar rules.

A new Daily Puzzle arrives each morning, picked at the difficulty you prefer, and sits on a weekly calendar. After you open a day you can see its date, grid size, difficulty rating, the median time of players and the share who solved it. A Weekly Challenge gives one longer, untimed puzzle per week. You can compare times with friends, climb global leaderboards and keep a streak, with one recovery if you miss a day.

Outside the daily there are 39 puzzle packs with grids from 6x6 up to 24x24, and the hint system explains the technique behind each move. It suits Tango players who want a bigger daily grid and a way to learn the deeper techniques.

How to play Rumba: Binairo Plus Puzzle

1. Open Rumba and tap today's date on the calendar.
2. Tap an empty cell to place one symbol, tap again for the other.
3. Keep each row and column balanced, with no more than two identical symbols in a row.
4. Follow the clues between cells: = means the same symbol, x means opposite symbols.
5. Fill the grid to finish, then compare your time with the median and your friends.
