Daily Sudoku
One classic 9 by 9 sudoku a day, the same for every player, with no ads.
Every day: One 9 by 9 sudoku a day, the same for every player, with notes, undo, hints and a streak; no ads. New puzzle: Midnight.

DailyPlay Sudoku gives everyone the same 9 by 9 sudoku each day. You fill the grid so every row, column and 3 by 3 box holds the numbers 1 to 9, with notes, undo and hints to help. The site has no ads and keeps your streak.
About Daily Sudoku
DailyPlay is a small daily games site made by Chris Benjaminsen, who spent years in the games industry and built it through his company GreatGamesNetwork ApS as an ad free alternative to the usual free puzzle sites. He writes the games himself and funds the site with optional subscriptions.
The Sudoku is the standard puzzle: a 9 by 9 grid split into nine 3 by 3 boxes, with some numbers given. You place the digits 1 to 9 so that none repeats in any row, column or box. There is no arithmetic involved, only deduction. The puzzles are generated and checked by a difficulty rater before they go out.
The puzzle resets at midnight and every player gets the same grid, so a finished time means something when you share it. While solving you can switch on notes to pencil in candidates, undo moves and ask for a hint. Streaks and scores are saved in your browser, or across devices with a free account, and earlier days are in an archive.
It suits anyone who wants a single clean sudoku each day without pop ups or video ads, and players who like comparing the same puzzle with friends.
How to play Daily Sudoku
- Open the Sudoku page to load today's grid.
- Select an empty cell and enter a digit from 1 to 9.
- Make sure no digit repeats in the same row, column or 3 by 3 box.
- Turn on Notes to pencil in the digits a cell could still take, and use Undo to step back.
- Fill every cell correctly to finish the puzzle and extend your streak.
Tips
- Start with the rows, columns and boxes that already have the most digits.
- Look for a digit that can only go in one cell of a box, even if that cell could hold other digits.
- Pencil in candidates once the easy placements dry up; pairs of cells sharing the same two candidates rule those digits out elsewhere.
- Avoid guessing; every cell in a well made sudoku can be found by logic.
- Save hints for when you have checked every row, column and box and are truly stuck.
