Every day: One classic 9x9 sudoku a day, the same for every player, with a single logical solution. Sundays bring a harder edition with fewer clues. Daily leaderboard. New puzzle: Midnight US Eastern Time.

Suds is the free daily classic sudoku from Mind Loft. Each day there is one 9x9 grid with a set of printed clues, and you fill every row, column and 3x3 box with 1 to 9 once. One solution, reachable by logic, with a harder grid on Sundays.
About Suds (Mind Loft)
Suds is the classic sudoku on Mind Loft, a free site of daily browser games, and the base of its sudoku family. Each day everyone gets the same 9x9 grid with a set of printed digits. Fill in the rest so that every row, every column and every 3x3 box holds 1 to 9 exactly once. There is always a single solution that can be reached by logic, without guessing.
You tap a square and a number, or pick a number and tap squares. Notes let you pencil in candidates where a square could go two ways, and on a desktop the arrow keys and number row work too. Wrong entries are not flagged, so spotting your own slips is part of the solve, and a clean solve earns a perfect score.
A new grid goes up at midnight US Eastern Time, and the Sunday Edition is harder, with fewer clues. Mind Loft builds many variants around it, including Quilt (jigsaw), Cages (killer), Sando (sandwich), Mercury (thermo), Polka (kropki), Rim (outside) and Sixes (6x6), so Suds is the place to start before trying the others.

Tips
- Scan each digit across the three boxes of a band; two placed copies often force the third.
- Look for squares with only one candidate once rows, columns and boxes are checked.
- Use notes sparingly early on and more as the grid gets harder through the week.
- Wrong entries are not flagged, so check each box before you finish.
