Daily Sudoku (xoxoxo.live)
One classic 9x9 sudoku a day, the same for everyone, shared as a grid of the boxes you solved cleanly.
Every day: One numbered 9x9 sudoku a day, generated from the date so it is the same for everyone, with a timer, a streak and a spoiler-free share grid; numbering starts at #1 on 1 January 2026. New puzzle: Midnight UTC.

Daily Sudoku on xoxoxo.live gives everyone the same numbered 9x9 sudoku each day, with exactly one solution so it never needs a guess. You solve it against a timer, mistakes are counted box by box, and the result shares as a small spoiler-free grid.
About Daily Sudoku (xoxoxo.live)
Daily Sudoku is the daily puzzle on xoxoxo.live, a small site of free browser games called The Game Room, made by litansh. Its sudoku generator is also on itch.io, where the page points to the daily at xoxoxo.live/daily. There is no sign-up or download, and it works on a phone.
The rules are classic sudoku: fill every row, column and 3x3 box with the digits 1 to 9. Each puzzle is generated with exactly one solution, so there is always something you can deduce. Tapping a digit highlights every copy of it on the board, which makes it easier to see where a number can still go.
The daily puzzle is built from the date in UTC, so everyone gets the same grid, and each one is numbered, counting from #1 on 1 January 2026. A wrong digit is marked straight away and counted as a mistake in its box. When you finish, the game shows your time and mistakes and builds a share block: a 3x3 of the sudoku's boxes, filled where you solved cleanly and marked where you slipped, so it gives nothing away about the puzzle.
Arrows beside the puzzle number take you back through every earlier day to the start, though archive puzzles do not count towards your streak. The site shows ads, and the same site has the unlimited Sudoku with three difficulties, plus tic-tac-toe, Connect Four, Snake, 2048 and Memory.
How to play Daily Sudoku (xoxoxo.live)
- Open xoxoxo.live/daily to load today's numbered sudoku.
- Select an empty cell and tap a digit from 1 to 9 on the pad below.
- Make sure each row, column and 3x3 box ends up with every digit once.
- Watch for wrong entries: they are marked and counted as mistakes in that box.
- Finish the grid, then press Share result to post your time and box grid.
Tips
- Tap a digit to highlight all its copies; the rows and boxes without it stand out.
- Every puzzle has one solution, so if you are stuck, look for a cell with only one possible digit or a digit with only one possible cell in a box.
- The timer starts with your first entry, so look over the grid before placing anything.
- Use the archive arrows for extra practice; it will not break your streak.

Is the xoxoxo.live Daily Sudoku the same for everyone?
Yes. The puzzle is generated from the UTC date, so every player gets the same numbered grid.
What time does the Daily Sudoku change?
At midnight UTC.
Can I play earlier puzzles?
Yes. The arrows beside the puzzle number go back day by day to #1 (1 January 2026). Archive puzzles do not count towards your streak.
Does the share result spoil the puzzle?
No. It is a 3x3 grid of the sudoku's boxes showing where you made mistakes, with your time, and nothing about the digits.
