putt.day gives everyone the same mini golf hole each day, built in 3D with little hazards and slopes. You drag back on the ball to aim and set the power, then try to sink it in as few strokes as you can. Your first finish is your score for the day, and older holes wait in a calendar.

About putt.day

putt.day is a browser mini golf game with a single hole a day. Each hole has a number and a date, so on 2 October 2026 everyone was playing No. 143. The course pieces are 3D models from Kenney, and the game credits ell.dev as its maker.

Playing is all drag and release. You grab the ball, pull back in the opposite direction to the shot and let go; the further you pull, the harder you hit. Dragging anywhere else turns the camera, and you can pinch or scroll to zoom out and study the slopes before you commit. Water sends the ball back to where it was, and a first shot that ends in water does not count, so an opening gamble costs less than it looks.

What makes it a daily rather than a practice green is the scoring rule: only your first finish counts. You can replay for fun, but the stroke count you compare is the one from your first honest try. Past holes are kept in a calendar with stats, there is a party mode for racing friends on the same hole, and a hole editor lets players build their own.

It suits anyone who wants a one-minute game with a bit of touch and judgement rather than words or numbers, and it plays well on a phone.

How to play putt.day

  1. Open putt.day to load the day's numbered hole.
  2. Drag elsewhere on the screen, pinch or scroll to look around the hole first.
  3. Grab the ball and pull back away from where you want it to go; pull further for a harder shot.
  4. Let go to putt, and keep going until the ball drops, avoiding the water.
  5. Compare your stroke count, then open the calendar to play earlier holes.

Tips

  • Zoom out and trace the whole route before the first shot; the first finish is the one that counts.
  • A first shot into the water does not count, so a bold line off the tee costs little.
  • Later water hazards do cost a stroke and put you back where you were, so play safe near the hole.
  • Short pulls give fine control on slopes; most misses near the cup come from hitting too hard.
  • Use the calendar holes to practise the feel of the power before the day's attempt.
