About OlliOlli

OlliOlli is a 2D skateboarding game from Roll7, released on PC and Mac in 2014 after first appearing on PlayStation Vita. You skate from left to right through short levels, flicking the stick to pull off tricks in the air and pressing a button at the right moment to land cleanly or lock into a grind. Over 120 tricks and grinds, a five-stage career of 50 levels and 250 challenges reward tight timing, and a sloppy landing costs you most of your combo.

Beside the career there are Spots, short single-combo runs scored against the world, and the Daily Grind. Each day the Daily Grind picks one Spot at random for everyone. You have 24 hours to practise it as often as you like, but you only get one attempt that counts, and that single run sets your score on the world leaderboard.

The Daily Grind turns the game's one-more-try rhythm on its head: practise is free, but the run that matters is the one you choose to make. It suits players who already know the trick system and want a short, high-pressure challenge each day. The sequel, OlliOlli2: Welcome to Olliwood, has a Daily Grind of its own.

How to play OlliOlli

1. Open OlliOlli and choose Daily Grind.
2. Practise today's Spot as many times as you like to plan a combo.
3. When you are ready, start your one scored attempt.
4. Chain tricks and grinds and press land at the right moment to keep the combo.
5. See where your single run places on the day's world leaderboard.
