Learnle
Guess the number behind one new fact a day in five tries.
Every day: One numbered question a day with a number for an answer, the same for every player, such as the population of a country; you have five guesses, each answered with higher or lower and a colour for how far off you are. New puzzle: Once a day (the site does not state the hour).

Learnle is a small daily estimation game: each numbered puzzle asks one question whose answer is a number, and you have five guesses to get close. An arrow tells you to go higher or lower and the background colour shows how far off you are; you do not need the exact figure.
About Learnle
Learnle's idea is to learn one new fact a day by guessing it. Each puzzle asks a single question with a numeric answer, for example the population of Eswatini, and gives you five guesses.
After each guess the row shows an arrow pointing higher or lower and a background colour that deepens the further off you are, red one way and blue the other. You do not have to hit the exact number; the result counts how close you got, and the share card, headed with the puzzle number, shows your five rows as coloured squares. The game also tracks your number of tries and average time.
Learnle is made by Kiru and was still marked as work in progress on its help page. It suits players who like Fermi-style estimates and want one quick fact to think about each day.
How to play Learnle
- Open learnle.net and read today's question.
- Type a number as your first guess.
- Read the arrow (higher or lower) and the colour for how far off you are.
- Adjust your guess and try again, up to five times.
- Share your coloured result card with the puzzle number.
Tips
- Start with a round estimate you can reason about, then halve the gap each time.
- Think in orders of magnitude first; getting the number of digits right matters most.
- Use the colour, not just the arrow, to decide how big your next step should be.
Questions
How many guesses does Learnle give?
Five.
Do I need the exact number?
