Every day: A Daily Challenge with one Kingdom Hearts song a day, the same for every player: it plays from the 13 second mark, and each skip or wrong guess unlocks a longer clip, in six tries. New puzzle: Midnight UTC.

Heed to the Pulse is a fan-made Heardle for Kingdom Hearts music. Each day's Daily Challenge plays a short clip of one track, and you pick its title and game from a list; each skip or wrong answer unlocks more of the song, up to six tries. An Infinite Mode lets you set your own song list, and a music sudoku sits beside it.
About Kingdom Hearts Heed to the Pulse
Heed to the Pulse is a daily music quiz for the Kingdom Hearts series, made by a fan as a revival of an earlier Kingdom Hearts Heardle. Each day the Daily Challenge picks one track from the games' soundtracks for everyone. You press play, hear a second or so of it, and search the list for the song's title and the game it comes from.
If you are not sure, you can skip: each skip or wrong guess adds a few seconds to the clip, and you have six tries in all before the answer is shown. The daily puzzle always starts its clip from the 13 second mark, and its settings are fixed so that every player hears the same thing. A countdown shows the time to the next song, which comes at midnight UTC, and a stats screen keeps your Daily Challenge results.
Outside the daily, Infinite Mode lets you play as many songs as you like and choose which tracks are in the pool, including cutscene and unused tracks. The same app also has Heed to the Pulse: Sudoku, a music puzzle grid that tests your knowledge of the songs, inspired by a Pokemon community game; its daily board uses the Standard difficulty.
It suits Kingdom Hearts fans who know their Yoko Shimomura themes, and anyone who enjoys the other game-music Heardles.
How to play Kingdom Hearts Heed to the Pulse
- Open Heed to the Pulse; it starts on the Daily Challenge.
- Press play to hear the opening clip of today's song.
- Search for the song's title or game and submit your guess, or skip to hear a longer clip.
- Keep going until you name it or use all six tries, then share your result.
Tips
- Listen for the instrument and the mood first: battle themes, world themes and field music sound very different.
- Search by game when you know the era but not the track name.
- Skipping early costs a try but gives you more of the melody, which is often worth it.
