Guess the Song
Rate itHear five short clips a day and name each song, with a bonus for the artist.
Every day: Five songs a day, the same five for every player, from a catalogue of more than a thousand tracks; past dailies stay playable in an archive. New puzzle: Midnight UTC.

Guess the Song plays you five hit songs a day, starting with a five-second clip of each. Type the title, add the artist for a bonus, and buy longer listens if you need them at the cost of points. Everyone gets the same five, a new set arrives at midnight UTC, and older dailies wait in the archive.
About Guess the Song
Guess the Song is a free browser game at GuessTheSong.fm. Each day it picks five well-known songs, the same for every player, from a catalogue the site puts at more than a thousand songs by over eight hundred artists.
Each round starts with a five-second clip. You type the song's title, and naming the artist as well earns a bonus. If the first listen is not enough you can add more time twice, but each extension lowers what the title is worth, so a quick answer scores best. You can skip a round you do not know. When a round ends the answer is shown and the song's music video plays.
Finishing the daily five grows a streak kept on your device, and your score shares as a small grid. A new five drops at midnight UTC, and every past daily stays playable from the archive. Outside the daily there are practice pools by decade from the 70s to the 2020s, by genre such as rock, hip-hop, disco or Latin, and sets of one-hit wonders and feel-good songs.
It suits players who like Heardle but want several songs a day and points rather than a single pass or fail. It needs sound, and it shows ads.
How to play Guess the Song
- Open the Daily tab to start today's five songs.
- Press play to hear a five-second clip of the first song.
- Type the song title, and the artist if you know it for bonus points.
- If you need more, add time for a longer clip, knowing each extension lowers the points for the title.
- Submit or skip, watch the reveal, and go on to the next of the five.
- Share your final score when the five are done.

Tips
- Guess on the first clip when you have a hunch: the title is worth the most before any extension.
- Always add the artist when you know it; it is a separate bonus.
- Warm up in a decade or genre pool before the daily if you want practice, since those rounds do not touch your daily score.
- Missed a day? The archive keeps every past daily playable.
