Dating board on mindloftdaily.com: five shuffled exploration moments, from Vasco da Gama reaching India to Bering sighting Alaska, with arrows and a Check my order button with 3 checks left

Dating is a free daily history puzzle from Mind Loft. Each day deals five historical moments out of order; drag them into chronological order and check. You get three checks, correct cards lock with their year shown, and a perfect first check scores 10.

About Dating (Mind Loft)

Dating is a timeline puzzle. The day's five moments come from across history, often around a loose theme such as journeys with no map, and they arrive shuffled. You put them in order from earliest at the top to latest at the bottom by dragging the cards or using the arrow buttons.

You have three checks. Every event that is in the right place locks in and shows its year, which helps you place the rest. A perfect order on the first check scores 10, and there is a hint button if you are stuck. The game's own examples show the appeal: Oxford was teaching students before the Aztecs had a capital, and London had an underground railway before anyone had a car.

Each puzzle ends with the full dated timeline, a one-line story for each moment and a fact worth keeping. Five new moments arrive at midnight Eastern every day, and the Sunday Edition adds a sixth.

Tips

  • Anchor the moments you are sure of first, then slot the others around them.
  • Ask which events needed a technology or a state to exist first; it often settles a close pair.
  • Use the years revealed after a check to narrow down the cards still loose.
