Cubic Cosmos
Rate itA roguelike deckbuilder fought as tower defense, with a Daily Challenge whose bosses change every day.
Every day: A Daily Challenge mode next to the main runs and Mastery Mode: today's challenge has a set starting deck and its own bosses, which change every day. In Act II of the daily you also get two random Variant Relics. New puzzle: Once a day; the game does not say at what hour.

Cubic Cosmos mixes a roguelike deckbuilder with fast tower defense: you play cards to place and power up pawns on a grid, chain combos and beat down bosses. Besides its main runs and Mastery Mode it has a Daily Challenge with a set starting deck and bosses that change each day. It is a paid game on Steam for Windows and Mac, with a Nintendo Switch version due on 15 October 2026.
About Cubic Cosmos
Cubic Cosmos is made by Inkstone Atelier. It came out in Early Access on Steam in September 2025 and reached version 1.0 on 28 April 2026, with 12 heroes in three classes, over 240 cards and over 50 relics. A Nintendo Switch version, published by Happy Player, is listed for 15 October 2026.
Each battle is played on a grid. You draw cards that summon pawns and cast spells, build up your pawns' attributes, team them up for synergies and chain abilities into combos that can give you extra turns. Between fights you add cards and relics to your deck, meet random events and use Dolls to carry favourite cards into a later run. There are more than ten difficulty levels and an endless Mastery Mode.
The Daily Challenge has been in the game since Early Access. The developers' patch notes speak of today's Daily Challenge, fixed the bosses so that they rotate on a daily basis, and fixed a bug that let the daily's starting deck be changed by accident. From version 0.14 the second act of the daily also hands out two random Variant Relics.
It suits players of Slay the Spire and other deckbuilders who also like tower defense, and who want a fresh set of bosses to plan a deck around each day.

Tips
- Build around one or two strong pawns and keep stacking their attributes rather than spreading boosts thin.
- Look for cards that chain into each other: combos that give extra turns are how big boss fights are won.
- Plan your picks for the day's bosses, since they are different each day.
