Whereabouts Daily
Rate itName the five countries under the day's map pins in 13 guesses.
Every day: Five pins in five countries a day, the same pins in the same order for every player, to name in 13 guesses. New puzzle: Once a day; the site does not say at what time.

Whereabouts Daily puts five pins on an unlabelled world map each day, and you name the country each one sits in. You have 13 guesses for all five, and a wrong guess tells you how far it is from the nearest pin you have not solved.
About Whereabouts Daily
Whereabouts is a free, ad-free site for learning where the world's countries are, built by Trey Hunner to get better at the daily Globle geography game. Its main mode is a trainer that brings countries back at growing intervals. Whereabouts Daily is its shared daily game: everyone sees the same five pins each day, shown in the same order.
The map is a relief map with no names on it. You type a country into the box, and if a pin sits inside it, that pin is solved. If not, the game shows the distance from your guess to the nearest unsolved pin, which helps you close in. Next pin moves you around the map, and the guesses count down from 13 across all five. You can give up at any time to see the rest.
When you are done you can share a row of five circles, coloured by how many tries each pin took, from green for the first try to white for a pin not found. The result list also marks a found pin that hides a smaller country. Stats and a streak are kept, and an optional account saves them across devices; the game also offers to add the countries you missed to your learning.
It suits players of Globle and Worldle who want to name several countries a day rather than one, and anyone using Whereabouts to learn the map.
How to play Whereabouts Daily

- If you are wrong, read the distance to the nearest unsolved pin and adjust.

- Name all five, or give up to reveal the rest, then share your result.

Tips
- Start with the pin you are surest about, so you keep spare guesses for hard ones.
- Use the distance clue: a guess that lands far away tells you to look on another continent.
- Zoom in on pins near borders; a pin can sit in a small country next to a large one.
- Add the countries you missed to your learning so they come back in the trainer.
