Twilight Dungeons Daily gives everyone the same small generated dungeon each day. You move one tile at a time and must defeat every enemy on the floor, then compare your score with other players.
About Twilight Dungeons Daily
Twilight Dungeons Daily is a free browser game on itch.io that turns a turn-based roguelike into a daily puzzle. Each date has its own hand-sized dungeon floor full of sleeping creatures, webs, plants and walls, and the goal is simple: defeat every enemy without running out of hearts.
It was made by hellochar for the Seven Day Roguelike Challenge (7DRL) in 2026, as a daily puzzle version of the developer's earlier mobile game. The developer notes that AI tools helped with a significant part of the code, while the art and audio were made without them.
A day's puzzle comes in three difficulties: Basic, Medium and Complex. Every creature follows a fixed rule (bats heal from attacks and fall asleep, wallflowers stay next to walls, birds jump two tiles and pause), and you can click any tile to read what it does. Because enemy behaviour is predictable, each floor plays more like a tactics puzzle than a fight of luck: you plan the order of attacks, use guarding leaves and webs, and wait a turn when timing matters.
A date selector in the corner lets you go back to earlier days. It suits players who like short tactical puzzles, Hoplite or Desktop Dungeons style games, and a small roguelike they can finish over a coffee.

- Defeat every enemy on the floor, then compare your score with other players.

Tips
- Read every creature's rule first: most fights are won by attacking sleeping or pausing enemies at the right moment.
- Let enemies come to you with Wait rather than walking into webs or into range of several at once.
- Start with Basic to learn the day's creatures, then try Complex on the same date.
