TerraDex
A daily expedition of five small geography puzzles: borders, terrain, clocks, daylight and population.
Every day: Six free geography puzzles a day (twelve with Plus), the same for everyone, five of which make the numbered daily Expedition, the same for everyone: find a country from its land borders, a city from its terrain, its clocks or its daylight, weigh countries by population and more. New puzzle: Midnight in your local time.

TerraDex is a daily atlas of short geography puzzles. Each day's numbered Expedition gives you five games, such as spinning a globe to find a country by its borders or naming a city from the real terrain around it. A streak, an atlas of charted countries and an archive keep you coming back.
About TerraDex
TerraDex, by Merciless Studio, packs several small geography games into one daily round it calls an Expedition. In Borderly you spin a holographic globe where every guessed country shows how many land borders it lies from the mystery one, and you hop your way to the answer. Altile shows a shaded survey of the real terrain around a city, Popscale has you weigh countries by population, and others ask you to read a set of clocks, chase the daylight to a city or name a nation from its flag or capital.
Six of the twelve games are free every day (some Plus games are opened free for a week at a time), each with one puzzle a day for every player, and finishing five makes the day's Expedition, whose share text carries its number. Wins chart countries in your atlas, and badges reward streaks, perfect days, one-guess wins and finishing whole continents. Past days can be replayed from the archive.
TerraDex runs in the browser with no account and is also on Google Play. The free version shows ads; TerraDex Plus, a paid upgrade in the Android app, adds six more daily games, the full archive, endless play, unlimited tips and removes ads.
How to play TerraDex
- Open TerraDex and start today's Expedition.
- Play each of the five games: read its clue, such as a border count, a terrain map or a set of clocks, and type a country or city.
- Use the feedback after each guess to close in on the answer before your guesses run out.
- Finish all five to complete the day, chart new countries in your atlas and keep your streak.
- Share your Expedition result and come back after midnight for the next one.
Tips
- In Borderly, guess a central country first: its border count tells you roughly how far away the answer lies.
- Clocks and daylight puzzles are about longitude and latitude, so think in time zones and seasons.
- For terrain puzzles, look for coastlines and mountain ranges before guessing a city.
- Winning all five games in a day counts as a perfect day for badges.
