Every day: A new mystery dish every day, the same for every player: a photo and four unlockable clues, and six guesses to name its country of origin for up to 5,000 points. New puzzle: Once a day (a new mystery dish every day).

Tastedle shows a photo of a mystery dish and asks which country it comes from. You can unlock clues, main ingredients, cooking method, flavour and when it is eaten, each for a few points, and you have six guesses. The right sub-region or continent still scores part of the points.
About Tastedle
Tastedle is a daily world-food guessing game built for people who know food rather than maps. Each day it shows one dish in a photo, and your job is to name its country of origin. The site's own example: fish sauce and lemongrass point to Southeast Asia, while saffron and a wide pan say Spain.
Each dish starts at 5,000 points. Four clues can be unlocked: main ingredients and cooking method for 300 points each, flavour and style for 300, and when it is eaten for 200. You type a country and have six guesses. The full remaining score goes to the right country, half to the right sub-region and a fifth to the right continent, so a close guess is not wasted.
Dish facts and photos come from Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons under CC BY-SA, credited under each image. Beyond the daily, the site has an unlimited mode, a Connections game sorting sixteen dishes by country, a Higher or Lower game about which dish is better known, and cuisine pages. It is free with no account; stats and streaks stay on your device.

Tips
- Guess before unlocking clues if the dish looks familiar: every clue costs points.
- The cooking method clue is often the most telling: tandoor, wok or clay pot narrow the region fast.
- If you know only the region, guess a large country there: a sub-region match still pays half.
- Use Unlimited mode to learn regional dishes you do not know.
