Stray Shot
A twin-stick arena shooter where stray shots summon more monsters, with a seeded daily challenge.
Every day: A seeded daily challenge each day that keeps sending new sets of monsters until you die, the same seed for everyone. New puzzle: Once a day.

Stray Shot is a twin-stick arena shooter in which your own shooting sets the difficulty: shots that hit the walls bring in more enemies, and more enemies mean more points per kill. A seeded daily challenge throws waves of monsters at you until you die.
About Stray Shot
Stray Shot is a small arcade game by PUNKCAKE Délicieux, released on Steam in March 2024 for Windows, Mac and Linux. Its central idea is a risk you control: if you fire recklessly and your shots hit the walls, the arena fills up with monsters, but if you shoot too carefully, your score stays low. The more monsters on screen, the more each one is worth.
You study each monster's behaviour and pick how to fight it. There are eight arenas, each with its own creatures, contract levels that ask you to defeat specific sets of monsters, clan levels for monsters you have met in all five of their evolutions, and a gauntlet mode where you earn coins and shop for upgrades until your lives run out.
The daily challenge is seeded, so the day's sequence of monster sets is fixed: it keeps throwing new groups at you until you die, and the goal is to last and score as much as possible. Sessions can be as short as five minutes.
It plays with mouse and keyboard or a controller, solo or in local co-op for two to four players, and has a festival mode with an arcade-style leaderboard for events. It suits arcade fans who like score chasing with a twist.

Tips
- Let a few extra monsters in when you are confident: crowded arenas score more per kill.
- Learn each monster's movement in the arena modes before trying the daily.
- Keep your shots on target when overwhelmed, since misses only add more enemies.
