About LINOVICTUS

LINOVICTUS is a twin-stick shooter by transmutrix, released on Steam in July 2026 for Windows and Mac. It began as a game jam entry and grew into a full game. You play Lena, a lone pilot in a linocraft fighter facing an endless invasion, in arenas drawn with clean neon lines on a reactive grid.

A run is a loop of stages. You survive each wave, then visit a shop to buy upgrades such as spread shots, homing rounds, ricochets and shields, reroll the offer or save your currency. Every few stages a boss appears. A score multiplier grows while you play cleanly (no damage, collected pickups, combos) and resets the moment you are hit. Between runs, boss cores unlock permanent upgrades and new ships in the Hangar.

The daily challenge is one seeded run per day under the same conditions for everyone. That means the same waves and options for every pilot, so the global leaderboard compares skill rather than luck. Standard runs also have global, friends and local high score tables for each difficulty, from Easy to Expert.

It has full controller support, accessibility options and has been tested on Steam Deck. It suits arcade shooter fans who like chasing a high score and want a fair daily contest.

How to play LINOVICTUS

1. Buy and install LINOVICTUS on Steam.
2. Start the daily challenge to play the seeded run for today.
3. Move with one stick and aim with the other, clearing each wave without getting hit.
4. Spend your currency in the shop between stages, then see your rank on the daily leaderboard.
