Settlo is a daily chain-drop puzzle. Everyone gets the same 40-drop board each day from a fixed seed, so scores can be compared directly. You drop coloured pieces, line up matching colours and trigger chains, then share an emoji grid that gives nothing away.

About Settlo

Settlo, by Ashimo Games, is a chain-drop puzzle played in the browser. Pieces are small coloured creatures that fall into a boxed board. Lining up pieces of the same colour clears them and can set off chain reactions, which score extra points.

The Daily mode uses one fixed seed for everyone, so each player gets the exact same sequence of 40 drops. That makes the score a fair comparison between players, and the result is shared as a coloured emoji grid in the style of word puzzle results, without spoiling the board. The maker stresses that nothing you unlock changes the daily board, your score or the grid; every reward is cosmetic.

Endless mode is there for unlimited practice, and a Codex holds 20 creatures to discover as you build chains. The game uses only shapes and colours, so no reading is needed and it works in any language.

Settlo is free to play on itch.io with no install. It can also be played through a Telegram bot, where the daily and an emoji duel are available and cloud saves keep your streak across devices.

Tips

  • Think one drop ahead: a piece that sets up a later chain is worth more than a small clear now.
  • Because the daily seed is fixed, Endless mode is the place to practise without risk.
  • Unlocks are cosmetic only, so there is no need to grind before playing the daily.
