Seqle
Trace the day's hidden path of tiles, Wordle style, on grids from 4x4 to 8x8.
Every day: One numbered hidden path a day for each grid size from 4x4 to 8x8, the same for every player, found with green, yellow and grey feedback. New puzzle: Midnight in your time zone.

Seqle is a daily path puzzle. A hidden sequence of touching tiles sits on a square grid, and you guess it by tracing paths of your own; each tile comes back green, yellow or grey, as in Wordle. There is a numbered puzzle for every size from Easy (4x4) to Master (8x8), and the same site runs a second daily, Deduce.
About Seqle
Seqle takes the feedback of Wordle and applies it to a path on a grid. The tiles are labelled like a chessboard, A1 to D4 on the smallest board, and somewhere on it is a hidden sequence of tiles, each one touching the one before. The path is as long as the grid is wide: four tiles on a 4x4 board, eight on 8x8.
You build a guess by clicking tiles in order. Each new tile must touch the last one you picked and you cannot use a tile twice, so every guess is itself a valid path. Submit it and every tile is marked: green when it is the right tile in the right place in the sequence, yellow when it is in the path but at a different step, grey when it is not in the path at all. You get six guesses, or seven on the two biggest boards.
The difficulty menu chooses the size: Easy 4x4, Medium 5x5, Hard 6x6, Expert 7x7 and Master 8x8, each with its own daily answer, and the header shows the date and puzzle number. A tips page and a streak count come with it. The same site also offers Deduce, where you find a hidden path and the rule that changed it.
The small board is a two-minute warm-up; the large ones ask for real planning about which tiles a guess can test.
How to play Seqle
- Choose a difficulty: Easy is a 4x4 board, Master an 8x8 one.
- Click tiles in order to trace a path; each tile must touch the previous one.
- Submit when the path is as long as the grid is wide.
- Read the colours: green is the right tile at the right step, yellow is in the path at another step, grey is not in it.
- Use the colours to trace a better path, and find the answer within six guesses (seven on the largest boards).
Tips
- Use early guesses to cover as many untested tiles as you can.
- A green tile fixes one step and narrows the steps before and after it to its neighbours.
- A yellow tile is in the path but at another step: try it one place earlier or later next time.
