CodePop
Crack today's four-colour code in eight guesses, Mastermind style.
Every day: A secret four-colour code generated from the date, the same for everyone worldwide, to crack in eight guesses. New puzzle: Midnight.

CodePop is a free browser puzzle based on Mastermind. Each day one secret four-colour code is generated from the date and shared by all players, and you have eight guesses with feedback pegs to find it.
About CodePop
CodePop brings the board game Mastermind to the browser as a daily puzzle. The site says each daily code is deterministic and generated from today's date, so everyone in the world plays the same code, and a new one arrives at midnight.
You pick four colours and submit. Feedback pegs then show how many are the right colour in the right spot, how many are the right colour in the wrong spot, and how many are not in the code at all. With eight guesses you narrow the possibilities until the code is cracked.
The standard daily uses four different colours; Expert mode allows repeated colours, which makes the deduction much harder. A practice mode gives unlimited random codes. Streaks and statistics stay in your browser, there is no account, and the share button copies an emoji grid of your guesses without spoiling the answer. The site is in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
It suits players who like pure deduction and a short daily logic task with a clear result to share.
How to play CodePop
- Tap four colours to build a guess, then press Submit.
- Read the pegs: one for right colour in the right spot, one for right colour in the wrong spot, and one for colours not in the code.
- Use each result to rule out options and refine the next guess.
- Crack the code within eight guesses, then share your emoji grid.
Tips
- Start with four different colours to learn quickly which ones are in the code.
- Change one position at a time when you know the colours but not the order.
- In Expert mode remember that a colour can appear more than once.
- Use Practice mode to try opening strategies without spending the daily.
