Bulls and Cows Game (bullsandcowsgame.com)
Crack the day's secret 4-digit code from bulls and cows clues, with the same code for every player.
Every day: A numbered daily secret 4-digit code (Game #516 on 2 October 2026), picked from a fixed shuffled list by game number so everyone cracks the same code, with a daily rank percentile and leaderboard. New puzzle: Midnight, when the game number advances.

Bulls and Cows Game is a browser version of the classic code-breaking game. Each day has one numbered secret code of four different digits, the same for everyone, and each guess tells you how many digits are in the right place (bulls) and how many are right but misplaced (cows).
About Bulls and Cows Game (bullsandcowsgame.com)
Bulls and Cows is the pencil-and-paper ancestor of Mastermind, played with digits instead of coloured pegs. This site turns it into a daily puzzle: the secret code for each game number comes from a fixed shuffled list of every four-digit code with distinct digits, so all players face the same code on the same day. The day's game number and date sit above the board, and arrows step back to earlier days.
You have up to 50 guesses. Each guess returns the number of bulls (right digit, right position) and cows (right digit, wrong position), and you narrow down the possibilities until you hit four bulls. An easy mode colours the digits green and yellow like Wordle, but games played in easy mode do not count toward your stats.
After you solve the day, the site shows your streaks, win rate, average attempts and your rank percentile among that day's players, and you can share a spoiler-free result. Side modes include Bull Rush, Color Cows, Pico Fermi Bagels, Lockpick and a multiplayer game, plus a page for teachers.
It suits deduction fans, Mastermind players and anyone who wants a short number puzzle with a clear logic to it.
How to play Bulls and Cows Game (bullsandcowsgame.com)
- Open the site; today's game number and date are shown above the board.
- Enter a guess of four different digits with the keypad and press enter.
- Read the result: bulls are right digits in the right place, cows are right digits in the wrong place.
- Use the clues to rule out codes and keep guessing until you get four bulls.
Tips
- Start with two guesses that share no digits, such as 1234 and 5678, to find which digits are in the code.
- A guess with 0 bulls and 0 cows removes four digits at once.
- Keep a list of the codes still possible rather than guessing on instinct.
