Rapid Liar game 035 on 10 Things I Hate About You: the Rank the lines board with slots 1 to 3 for lies and 4 to 6 for truths, above the first quotes to rank

Rapid Liar is a daily movie and TV quote game. Each edition takes one film or show and gives you six lines, three spoken in it and three invented, and you rank all six from the one you are surest is a lie to the one you are surest is real. Your score counts lies caught and how well your confidence matched the truth.

About Rapid Liar

Each day Rapid Liar picks one film or TV show and names it on the front page, with a note when it has mature language or themes. Press Run it and six short quotes appear. Three are lines from the script, word for word, and three were written to sound like they belong.

You do not just pick the fakes: you rank all six. Slot 1 is your most confident lie and slot 6 your most confident truth, with the less certain calls in the middle. Tap a line to place it in the next slot or drag it anywhere, then lock the ranking. The reveal shows how many of the three lies you caught, a confidence score out of 6 and your time, and you can tap each square to see which quote was which.

Every player gets the same edition, and the daily standings rank players by confidence score, with faster time breaking ties. You can play without logging in; signing in lets you post a verified first attempt to the leaderboard and keep a private table with up to 49 friends. An archive offers the past seven days, and your record tracks streaks and how well your strongest calls hold up. Players with an account can also write a fake line for a future edition, credited to them if it is chosen.

It suits film and TV fans who quote their favourites and like a quick daily test of how well they really remember them.

How to play Rapid Liar

Tips

  • Fake lines often sum up a character too neatly; real dialogue tends to be odder and more specific.
  • Put only the lines you are really sure of at the ends, since that is where your confidence score is earned.
  • If you do not know the day's subject well, use the archive to practise on the past week's editions.
