Every day: The Daily five: five ranking puzzles, numbered and the same for everyone that day. Each gives six cards and one question, such as ranking animals by adult weight, to drag into order in four tries. New puzzle: Midnight in the player's local time.

Rank Panic gives you five ranking puzzles a day, the same for everyone. Each one shows six cards and a question, such as rank these animals by typical adult weight, and you drag them into order. After each try, cards in the right spot turn green and cards one place away turn amber, and you have four tries.
About Rank Panic
Rank Panic is a free browser game about putting things in order. Every puzzle shows six cards and one question: rank these mountains by elevation, these planets by diameter, these animals by typical adult weight, these inventions from oldest to newest. You drag the cards into order, or tap two to swap them, and submit.
The daily mode is called the Daily five. It is numbered from Daily #1 on 30 September 2026, and gives everyone the same five puzzles that day. You get four tries per puzzle. After each try, a card in exactly the right place turns green and a card one place away turns amber, but the real values stay hidden until the puzzle ends, so you work from the colours and what you know. A first-try solve scores 100 points, then 75, 50 and 25, with a speed bonus of up to 20 points for solving in about 40 seconds. A puzzle you fail still earns 5 points for each card your best try had in place, for up to 600 points a day.
When the five are done you see how you did against everyone else who played and can copy a grid of coloured squares to share. A countdown shows when the next five arrive. Outside the daily there is Endless, which runs until you miss three puzzles, Categories, which plays endlessly within one topic such as geography, science or sports, and Battle, where a friend gets your five puzzles and your score to beat.
The numbers behind each deck come from published sources such as national surveys, Wikipedia lists, NASA and official sports records, and the cards in a puzzle are kept far enough apart that small differences between sources do not change the order. The game is paid for by ads, which the site says never appear before or during a puzzle and cannot help you in the Daily five. No sign-up is needed.
It suits players who like ordering games such as Rankle or Sortem and want five short rounds across mixed topics.

Tips
- Lock in the green cards first and move only the others on the next try.
- An amber card is one place off, so swap it with a neighbour before moving it far.
- Check the labels at both ends of the list: some puzzles run from biggest to smallest, others from oldest to newest.
- The speed bonus only counts in roughly the first 40 seconds, so a quick first guess is worth making.
- A failed puzzle still pays 5 points per card in the right spot, so keep improving the order on the last try.
Questions
When do new Rank Panic puzzles appear?
A new Daily five starts at midnight in your own time zone; the page shows a countdown to the next one once you finish.
Is the Daily five the same for everyone?
Yes. Everyone gets the same five puzzles that day, and at the end you see how you did against the others who played.
How is Rank Panic scored?
100 points for a first-try solve, then 75, 50 and 25, plus up to 20 for speed. If you run out of tries, each card your best try had in place is worth 5 points. The most you can score in a day is 600.
Do I need an account?
No. It is free and needs no sign-up; your streaks are saved in your browser.
Are there ads?
Yes, the game is paid for by ads, but not before or during a puzzle. In Endless you can choose to watch an ad for a fifth try or one more life; nothing in the Daily five can be earned that way.
