Every day: One dated sorting challenge a day, the same for everyone (Monday, October 5, 2026: sort seven moons by diameter, largest first), with a countdown to the next. New puzzle: Once a day; a countdown on the page shows when the next challenge arrives.

Sortem gives you a list of seven things and a measure, such as moons by diameter, and you drag them into the right order. Check Order marks each item as in the correct spot, close or far, and you have three tries to get it right. A new challenge arrives every day.
About Sortem
Sortem is a daily sorting game in the trivia family. Each challenge has a topic tag, a short instruction and a unit: on October 5, 2026 it was the moons Ganymede, Io, Europa, Callisto, Titan, the Moon and Triton, to sort by diameter in kilometres from largest to smallest. Other days use countries, cities, foods and more.
You drag the rows into the order you believe and press Check Order. Each item then shows whether it is in the correct spot, which locks it in place, close to the right spot, or far off. A row of coloured dots under the board records each guess. Solving in one, two or three tries earns three, two or one stars.
A countdown shows when the next challenge arrives, the statistics screen tracks your daily streak, and an archive lets you play past days without affecting the streak. Results can be shared directly to social sites. It plays free in the browser.

Tips
- Place the items you are surest of at the ends first: they are easiest to lock.
- Use close and far markers together: a far item usually needs to move to the other half.
- Think in rough numbers: knowing one value lets you place its neighbours around it.
- Play the archive to learn the kinds of measures the game uses.
