Queens Game at playthequeensgame.com posts three Queens boards every day at UTC midnight, an 8x8, a 9x9 and a 10x10, and counts the day done when you solve all three. A separate Beat the Clock sprint gives everyone the same run of easy boards against a one-minute timer. Every past date stays open in the archive.

About Queens Game (playthequeensgame.com)

This Queens Game is an independent site for the region puzzle LinkedIn made popular: place exactly one queen in every row, every column and every colour region, with no two queens touching, not even diagonally. It has its own puzzles and is not tied to LinkedIn.

The Daily Challenge goes live at UTC midnight with three boards, 8x8, 9x9 and 10x10. A counter shows how many of the three you have solved and how long until the next set; finishing all three completes the day and extends your streak. Each board is the same for everyone, so times can be compared, and unlike LinkedIn's puzzle there is no 24-hour lock: every past date stays open in the archive.

The Beat the Clock tab is a separate once-a-day sprint: everyone gets the same sequence of easy-rules boards and solves as many as they can in one minute, with only the first finish stored for the day's leaderboard. On the boards you have Hint, Undo and Reset, and an option to mark X's around each queen automatically. Unlimited mode and a numbered puzzle library give more boards. The site shows ads after a consent banner.

It suits LinkedIn Queens players who want more than one board a day and the option of a speed round.

Tips

  • Start with the smallest colour region and work outward.
  • A region that sits in one row or column claims that line: cross out the rest of it.
  • In Beat the Clock, skip slow reasoning: the early boards are small and quick.
