Daily Queens Game is the web front door to Speed Stars, the Queens-style puzzle from PEMDAS Games. Each day at midnight Eastern there is one colour-region grid where you place one star (a queen) in every row, column and region, none touching. Your time is ranked on a global leaderboard, and past days wait in an archive.
About Daily Queens Game (PEMDAS Speed Stars)
Daily Queens Game at dailyqueensgame.com introduces the day's grid, its size and how many players have finished it, and its Play Now button opens the board on PEMDAS Games, where the puzzle is called Speed Stars. The rules are those of LinkedIn's Queens: one piece in every row, every column and every colour region, and no two pieces touching, even diagonally. PEMDAS draws them as stars.
A new grid drops at midnight Eastern Time, the same for every player, and its size changes from day to day (10x10 on 6 October 2026). The point is speed: every solve is timed, ranked on a global leaderboard and easy to share with friends, which the site sells as Queens, but ranked. Missed days are in the archive, and boards sorted by size from 7x7 to 12x12 are there for practice.
First-timers get a short Speed Stars tutorial: tap a cell once to mark an X and again to turn it into a star. PEMDAS Games also runs Speed Word, Word Slide and Math Slide on the same daily, timed format, free and with no ads, in the browser and in its iPhone app.
It suits Queens players who like racing a clock and comparing times more than a slow solve.

Tips
- Start with the smallest region: it has the fewest places for its star.
- Once a star is placed, cross out its row, column and the four diagonal neighbours at once.
- Speed comes from marking X's quickly, not from guessing stars.
