Queens Ultimate plays the region puzzle LinkedIn made popular: a square grid split into colour regions, where you place exactly one queen in every row, every column and every region, and no two queens may touch, not even diagonally. The site says every puzzle has exactly one solution reachable by logic.

The day comes in two sets. Daily Mini is three levels in a row, starting on a 5x5 or 6x6 grid and getting bigger; the site reckons most players finish all three in three to six minutes. It is numbered (Daily Mini #268 fell on Tuesday 6 October 2026, labelled Medium) and the same for every player. Daily Max is ten levels of progressive difficulty for a longer session. Both reset at midnight, and Unlimited mode gives practice boards at any time.

Newcomers get a short How to Play tutorial on a worked board, which can be skipped. Under the grid are Reset, Undo and Hint, with a timer and pause above. The site tracks your daily streak; an account is optional. Ads sit at the sides of the page. The same studio makes Stars Ultimate, a two-star Star Battle.

It suits LinkedIn Queens players who want a warm-up set or a longer daily run, and beginners, since the Mini starts small.

How to play Queens Ultimate

1. Open queensultimate.com and choose Daily Mini or Daily Max.
2. Tap cells to mark X's and to place queens.
3. Put exactly one queen in every row, column and colour region.
4. Keep queens from touching, even diagonally.
5. Finish each level to move on to the next, until the day's set is done.
