Pixalea
Fill the day's nonogram from its number clues until a small pixel picture appears.
Every day: One nonogram a day with a hidden pixel-art picture, the same puzzle for everyone, with a riddle as a hint and a daily best-time leaderboard among friends. New puzzle: Once a day (the listing does not state the time).

Pixalea is a daily nonogram (picross) for iPhone. Everyone gets the same grid each day, with a riddle that hints at the hidden picture, and mistakes add 30 seconds to your time. Friends can compare their best times on a daily leaderboard.
About Pixalea
Pixalea gives you one nonogram a day. The numbers beside each row and above each column say how many cells in a row are filled, and in which runs; you paint cells with Fill and cross out empty ones with Mark until every clue is met. When the grid is done, the picture appears in colour and the app names it, an apple or whatever the day held.
Everyone gets the same puzzle each day. A short riddle sits above the grid as a hint to what is hiding there. Guessing is discouraged: a wrong cell is corrected for you, but it counts as a mistake and adds 30 seconds to your time. A friends' leaderboard compares each day's best time, which needs an account made with email, Google or Apple. Past puzzles stay open in a free archive.
The app is free and carries its own ads. A one-time purchase removes them, and you can also buy five extra tries at today's puzzle. Watching the daily video five days running earns two tries on the sixth day. Pixalea is made by Opharana LLC, came out in September 2026, plays in six languages and works offline apart from the leaderboard, the video and purchases.
How to play Pixalea
- Open Pixalea and tap Play on today's picture.
- Read the number clues on each row and column: each number is a run of filled cells.
- Use Fill to paint cells you are sure of and Mark to cross out cells that stay empty.
- Avoid guessing: each mistake is corrected but adds 30 seconds to your time.
- Complete every row and column to reveal the picture, then compare your time with friends.

Tips
- Start with the largest clues: a run longer than half the line always overlaps in the middle.
- Mark empty cells as soon as a line's runs are placed; the crosses unlock the crossing lines.
- Read the riddle before you start; knowing the shape can tell you where to look first.
- Only your best time of the day counts on the leaderboard, so extra tries can lower it.
