Nonogram (Greatest Games)
Fill the grid from the number clues to reveal the day's hidden picture.
Every day: One nonogram a day, the same for everyone: fill the grid from the number clues on each row and column to reveal a hidden picture. New puzzle: Midnight US Eastern Time.

Nonogram on Greatest Games is a daily picture-logic puzzle, also known as Picross or Griddlers. The numbers beside each row and above each column give the runs of filled squares in order, and you fill and mark cells until the grid matches and a picture appears. Every square can be reasoned out without guessing.
About Nonogram (Greatest Games)
A nonogram starts as a blank grid with numbers along the top and side. Each number is a run of consecutive filled squares in that row or column, in order, with at least one gap between runs: 4 2 means a run of four, a gap, then a run of two. Working from the clues, you decide which squares are filled and which stay empty, and the finished grid shows a picture.
You tap to fill a square, long-press or right-click to mark it empty with a cross, and drag to paint a whole run. A clue dims once its row or column is satisfied, though that does not mean the placement is right. The puzzle completes itself the moment the grid matches the solution, so there is no wrong ending, only a faster or slower one, and a walkthrough on the page shows how to start.
Nonogram is one of the daily games on Greatest Games, a site of word and logic puzzles. A new puzzle goes up every day at midnight US Eastern, the same for everyone, and it plays free in the browser with no account or download. A free account opens the Nonogram archive of every past puzzle by date.
How to play Nonogram (Greatest Games)
- Open Nonogram on greatest.games and look at the row and column clues.
- Fill the rows and columns that the clues fix completely, such as a run as long as the line.
- Mark squares you know are empty with a cross.
- Use overlaps between clues to fill more squares.
- Keep going until the grid matches every clue and the picture appears.
Tips
- Start with the biggest numbers; long runs in a short line overlap in the middle.
- Mark empties as eagerly as fills; crosses unlock as much as filled squares.
- Remember a dimmed clue is satisfied, not necessarily correct.
- Never guess; every well-made nonogram can be solved by logic alone.
