Movie Poster Quiz
Name twelve films from their posters, with a new set every day.
Every day: One set of twelve film posters a day, the same for every player: name as many as you can, then see how your score compares with everyone who played that day. New puzzle: Midnight UTC, stated in the FAQ.

Movie Poster Quiz shows a dozen film posters each day and you type the titles you recognise. You can open a poster to read the film's synopsis as a hint, give up when you are stuck, and compare your score with other players and keep a daily streak.
About Movie Poster Quiz
Movie Poster Quiz is a small hobby site for naming films from their posters. The daily quiz is a set of twelve posters, the same for everyone, and you type titles into a box at the bottom of the screen; a poster is marked as soon as your typing matches its film.
If a poster stumps you, click it to see more details and reveal the synopsis as a hint. When you finish or give up, the game shows how many you got, gives you a rank title for your score and shows what share of that day's players you beat. A streak counts the days in a row you have played.
The films come from TMDB, filtered to well-known titles with enough votes and a minimum rating, so the posters are mostly films people have heard of. Besides the daily quiz there is a Quick Play mode that deals a fresh set at any time.
How to play Movie Poster Quiz
- Open Movie Poster Quiz and start the Daily Quiz.
- Type the title of any poster you recognise into the box at the bottom.
- Click a poster to see details and reveal its synopsis if you need a hint.
- Keep going until you have named all twelve or choose to give up.
- See your score and how it compares with other players that day.
Tips
- Start with the posters you know at once, then go back to the hard ones.
- Some titles match before you finish typing, so try the distinctive word first.
- Read the synopsis hint only for the posters you cannot place from the art.
