Knights in Tight Spaces is a turn-based tactics deckbuilder from Ground Shatter, a medieval follow-up to Fights in Tight Spaces. You lead a small party through close-quarters fights using cards, positioning and the room itself, and a Daily Play mode gives everyone the same run to compete on a leaderboard.
About Knights in Tight Spaces
Knights in Tight Spaces is a standalone game set in the same universe as Fights in Tight Spaces, published by Raw Fury and released on Steam in March 2025. It swaps the earlier game's modern martial arts for a fantasy world of outlaws and supernatural foes, while keeping its stylish slow-motion fight scenes and electronic soundtrack.
Each fight takes place on a small grid. You play cards to strike, block, move and push enemies around, and the cramped rooms are part of your toolkit: knocking a foe into a wall or into another enemy can matter as much as the card you play. Unlike the first game you lead a party, recruiting characters with their own classes and gear, and team-up moves reward planning across the whole group. There are 300 cards to collect and upgrade.
Daily Play is the daily mode. The game generates a run for the day, including the starting deck and the levels, and everyone plays the same one before comparing results on the Daily Play leaderboard. Patch notes from 2025 show the developers tuning it, for example how Daily Play picks its starter decks and when demons can appear.
There is also an Endless mode and a harder Tight Mode for players who want more. It suits fans of Slay the Spire-style deckbuilders who also enjoy positional tactics, and anyone who wants one fresh tactical puzzle to measure themselves against each day.
