About Isle of Arrows

In Isle of Arrows you do not get to pick freely from a menu of towers. Each turn you draw a tile, and you have to find the best place for it: arrow and cannon towers, path pieces that define where invaders walk, flags that add more ground, gardens that earn coins and taverns that boost nearby archers. Between waves you collect bonus cards and relics, and four guilds change the rules of how you build. The game was made by Gridpop and released in 2022 on PC, Mac and mobile.

Daily Defense is the daily mode, unlocked after the Training Grounds. Each day brings a run with its own modifiers, such as Isolated, Quagmire, One Hit Wonder or Double Damage, and scores are posted to the Daily Defense leaderboard, so players compare how they handled the same conditions. Seasonal events have dressed the daily in special backdrops.

The game has not had updates since 2023, but the daily mode remains part of it.

It suits strategy and puzzle players who like making the most of a random draw and a short daily contest.

How to play Isle of Arrows

1. Finish the Training Grounds to unlock Daily Defense.
2. Start today's run and note its modifiers.
3. Place each drawn tile on the isle: paths, towers, flags and other buildings.
4. Start each wave and stop the invaders reaching your keep.
5. Survive as long as possible and check your score on the daily leaderboard.
