About illivia

illivia is a small daily quiz with a Wordle-style row of six guesses. The question might be how many eyes a honeybee has, counting both compound and simple eyes. You type a number and press Guess, and the tile turns blue for far, yellow for warm or red for hot, until you hit the hidden answer or run out of attempts.

Each puzzle is numbered, there is a countdown to the next one, and a streak and stats are kept. Challenge mode offers more questions beyond the daily one, and a puzzle archive holds earlier days.

Questions can be submitted by players. The site says every submission is read by a person and asks for a single whole-number answer that is beyond argument and will still be true in five years, and credits the sender if it is used. It suits trivia fans who like a single tricky fact over a long quiz.

How to play illivia

2. Type a whole number and press Guess.
3. Read the colour: blue is far, yellow warm, red hot.
