Amist
Rate itPut the day's five items in the right order before 25 seconds run out.
Every day: One ranking a day for everyone: five items and one question, such as which painting was created first, numbered (#13 on 17 October 2026) and played once against a 25-second clock. New puzzle: Not stated; a new numbered ranking each day..

Amist is a free daily ranking game in the browser. Each day everyone gets the same five items and one question, such as which painting came first, and has 25 seconds to drag them into order. Exact placements score most, near misses score some, and a streak counter tracks the days you play.
About Amist
Amist gives you one ranking puzzle a day. The question sits above a list of five cards, with a topic tag such as Entertainment and Art, and a line that says how to rank them, for example by approximate creation year, earliest to latest. Each day's puzzle has a number, so players comparing results know they had the same one.
The round is short. You press Play when you are ready and a 25-second clock starts at once. You drag any card to a new spot, or tap its up and down arrows to move it one place at a time, then lock in your answer. If the clock reaches zero first, your last finished order is locked for you, so a drag still held at zero does not count. Your answer is final once it is in.
Scoring rewards closeness rather than only a perfect order. The best score is 100, and each item scores by how far it sits from its right place: exact, one away, two away, or three or more away. Exact placements matter most, so getting the top and bottom right still pays even if the middle is mixed up.
Amist plays with no sign-up; a Sign in button and a streak counter sit at the top of the page. It suits players who like quick trivia and ordering games such as Rankle or Factle and want one that takes under a minute a day.
How to play Amist

- Drag a card anywhere to move it, or tap its up or down arrow to move it one spot.
- Release every drag before the clock reaches zero so the move counts.

Tips
- Place the items you are surest of first, often the top and bottom, since exact placements score the most.
- Use the arrows for small fixes near the end; one tap moves a card one spot without the risk of a drag still held at zero.
- Read the ranking line under the question before you start: it says which way the order runs.
