Tall Ordle is a daily ranking game. In each of five 30-second rounds you stack six things in order, the tallest, the fastest or the oldest, and every pair you get the right way round adds a floor to your tower. A perfect build is 75 floors.
About Tallordle
Tall Ordle turns ranking into a building game. Each day is one numbered build, and it has five rounds. In every round you are given six things and a measure, such as height, speed or age, and you have 30 seconds to stack them in order.
Scoring counts pairs: every pair of items you place the right way round adds a floor to your tower. The landmarks on the way up mark how you are doing, from above the treetops at 10 floors, through inside the clouds and the sky turning dark, to the spire at 75 floors, a perfect build.
Everyone gets the same puzzle each day, and it changes at midnight in your own time zone. When you finish, you see where your tower stands among that day's builds and can copy a result to share. Once a day is over everywhere, its answers go into the Past builds archive with the right order and the source of each figure.
Tallordle is an independent project run by one person. It needs no account or sign-up. Its one advertisement, a Google AdSense slot, appears on the results screen once you have finished playing.
Before you start you pick the scenery your tower rises through: City, with birds, clouds and planes, or Ice, with penguins, snow clouds and the aurora. After each round the board shows every item's real figure and its true place, with a short fact about one of them and a link to report a figure that looks wrong. The about page says the figures come from published sources such as statistics offices and NASA fact sheets.
It suits players who like general knowledge played fast, and who enjoy the small partial credit of getting most of an order right.

Tips
- Place the extremes first: the biggest and smallest are usually easiest to call.
- A near miss still earns most of the floors, so do not spend the clock on one hard pair.
- Read the measure carefully: oldest and earliest are not always the same thing.
