GeoGraphle

GeoGraphle home for Monday, October 5, 2026: today's score out of 12,000, a countdown to midnight UTC and the Pie chart and Flag modes, over a globe of flags

GeoGraphle is a free daily geography challenge in six modes, each with its own country of the day. You guess countries from a pie chart of their flag colours, a flag built Wordle-style, a zooming silhouette and a grid of eight clues, and you place countries in rankings and a top 5, for a score out of 12,000.

About GeoGraphle

GeoGraphle gathers six small geography games on one page and scores them together. Pie chart shows the colours of a country's flag in proportion and asks you to name it. Flag is described as the Wordle of colours. Rankings has you place countries in the right rankings, and Top 5 has you put countries in order. Silhouette shows a country's outline as the map zooms out, and Grid gives eight clues to one country.

Each mode has a different country, the whole set is the same for every player, and the page shows the date, a running score out of 12,000 and a countdown to the next challenge at midnight UTC. A streak and best streak are kept, and previous days can be played from the archive.

The game uses open data and needs no sign-up. A Learn section lets you practise flags, capitals and shapes. It can be played in English or French and suits anyone who wants a broader daily geography workout than a single guess.

How to play GeoGraphle

  1. Open the day's geo challenge and pick a mode.
  2. Name the country from its flag colours, flag, silhouette or clue grid, or order countries in Rankings and Top 5.
  3. Each mode adds to your score out of 12,000.
  4. Finish all six before midnight UTC to keep your streak.

Tips

  • Play Pie chart before Flag: the colour proportions help with flags you half remember.
  • In Silhouette, guess early while the map is close; zooming out costs points.
  • Use the Learn section on weak areas such as small island flags.
