Flags (flagsgame.net)
Name the day's country from its flag's colour breakdown, with more of the flag shown after each miss.
Every day: One numbered flag a day, the same for everyone: guess the country in six attempts from its colour breakdown, partial reveals and distance clues, with an archive of missed days. New puzzle: Midnight in your local time zone (the day number follows your device's date).

Flags is a daily flag game: each day there is one numbered flag to identify in six attempts. You start with only the share of each colour in the flag, and every wrong guess reveals more of the flag and tells you how far and in which direction the answer lies.
About Flags (flagsgame.net)
Flags is a browser game with one flag a day. Puzzles are numbered from the first daily flag on 21 July 2025, so Flag #439 fell on 2 October 2026. An archive lets you go back and answer the days you missed.
The first clue is not the flag itself but its colour breakdown: a row of swatches with the percentage of the flag each colour covers, such as 45% green, 42% blue, 10% yellow and 3% white. You type a country into the search box and pick it from the suggestions; only countries in that list can be guessed.
If the guess is wrong, part of the flag is revealed, and the more guesses you make the more of it you see. Each miss also tells you how many kilometres away the right country is and in which compass direction, much like Worldle, so map knowledge helps as much as flag knowledge. You have six attempts in all.
Stats are kept on your device, and the same site has a sister word game called Wordy. It suits players who like flags and geography and want a puzzle that takes a minute or two. The page shows ads.
How to play Flags (flagsgame.net)
- Open flagsgame.net and look at the colour breakdown of today's flag.
- Type a country and choose it from the suggestions, then submit.
- If you miss, study the newly revealed part of the flag and the distance and direction to the answer.
- Use those clues for your next guess; you have six attempts.
- Check your stats, or open the archive to play days you missed.
Tips
- Rare colours in the breakdown (such as a small share of yellow or white) often point to an emblem or a star.
- Use a central, well-known country as a first guess to get a useful distance and direction.
- Combine the direction clue with the revealed stripes: neighbours often share colour schemes.
- Only countries from the dropdown are accepted, so start typing and pick from the list.
