Escape Logic: Deduction Puzzle
Find where each item is hidden, what it opens and when, from the clues alone.
Every day: One escape-room logic grid a day, the same for players worldwide: work out where each item is hidden, which lock it opens and the order you use them. New puzzle: One new set a day; the maker does not say at what hour.

Escape Logic is a daily logic-grid puzzle for iPhone set in a locked room. Each case hides a few items, and from a list of clues you work out where each one is hidden, which lock it opens and the order you use them, marking a grid with circles and crosses. There is one daily case, the same for players worldwide, and every case has exactly one answer.
About Escape Logic: Deduction Puzzle
A case is laid out as a deduction grid split over tabs: Item, Place, Opens and Order. In Escape the Cafe, for example, the Place tab crosses items such as a Small Key, a Silver Key, a Matchbox and an Old Recipe Book with hiding places such as the Clock, Counter, Register, Sofa and Bookshelf. Tapping a cell cycles it through a cross, a circle and blank. The numbered clues open in a panel below the grid, for example: the item hidden behind the Bookshelf is used 2nd. You can mark a clue as done once you have used it, and the Check button tells you how far you have got. There is undo, a pencil tool and zoom.
The Daily screen shows the date, the line Everyone worldwide gets the same puzzle. One per day, your streak, and a choice of Easy, Normal or Hard before Play today. The cases are set in 20 themed rooms, including a cafe, a bathhouse and an observatory. There is no timer. Hints go step by step, from a small nudge to a full walkthrough, and each revealed mark now shows the clues behind it and a one-line conclusion.
Escape Logic is made by Tomoya Tsuruta, whose TRISTORE escape-room games have passed five million downloads, and came to the App Store in July 2026. It is free and is available in English and Japanese.
How to play Escape Logic: Deduction Puzzle

- Read the numbered clues in the Clues panel.
- On each tab of the grid, tap a cell to mark a cross for impossible or a circle for certain.
- When an item has its circle in a row, cross out the rest of that row and column.
- Fill the whole grid so every item has one hiding place, one lock and one place in the order, and the door opens.

Tips
- Start with clues that name one exact pairing, such as an item used 2nd; they give you circles straight away.
- Every circle rules out the rest of its row and column, so mark the crosses at once.
- Mark each clue as done once you have used it fully, so you only reread the ones still in play.
- Ask for a hint when stuck: it shows the clues behind the mark it reveals, which teaches the step.
