Clue Manor (Puzzleship)
Place every guest on the manor floor plan from what they remember, then find the Hider.
Every day: Six numbered manor floor plans a day, from very easy to ultra hard and the same for everyone: place every guest from their statements, one per row and column, and find the Hider in the last free cell. New puzzle: Midnight in your own time zone, as the site states.

Clue Manor is a placement deduction puzzle on Puzzleship. Each guest gives one statement about where they stood, some exact and some naming only a room, row or column, and no two guests shared a row or column. Place them all and the cell left over is where the Hider was.
About Clue Manor (Puzzleship)
Clue Manor sets its logic inside a country house. The floor plan is a small grid divided into rooms such as a hall, a salon, a ballroom and a gallery, with furniture in some cells. Each guest has left one statement. Some are exact, a row and column; others only narrow it to a room, a row or a column. Armchairs and sofas can be sat on, but every other object blocks its cell.
The key rule is that everyone stood in a different row and a different column. That rule does as much work as the statements: each guest you place removes a whole row and column from the others, so a guest who only remembered being in the library may, three placements later, have exactly one cell left. When every guest is placed, the Hider appears in the last open spot.
You can pencil candidate cells, drag clues onto the map, and tap a clue's underlined words to highlight the area they mean. Puzzleship publishes six numbered floor plans a day, from very easy to ultra hard, from midnight in your own time zone, with older ones in the archive. It is free with ads, with a premium plan that removes them.
It suits players of Queens and Star Battle who enjoy one-per-row placement, and mystery fans who like Alibi or Murdle.
How to play Clue Manor (Puzzleship)
- Open Clue Manor and pick one of the day's six floor plans.
- Read each guest's statement about where they stood.
- Select a clue and tap a cell to pencil it, place the guest, or clear it.
- Make sure no two guests share a row or column and that every statement holds.
- When all guests are placed, the Hider appears in the last free cell.
Tips
- Place the guests with exact positions first, then re-read the vague clues.
- A room clue gets sharp quickly once a few rows and columns are taken.
- If two guests name the same room, neither can be where they would share a line.
- Remember blocked furniture: only armchairs and sofas can be stood on.
