House Puzzles (Puzzleship)
A row of houses, four attributes, and clues that allow one arrangement.
Every day: Six numbered puzzles a day, from very easy to ultra hard and the same for everyone: match every house in a row with four attributes from direct and relational clues; past days are in an archive. New puzzle: Midnight in your own time zone, as the site states.

House Puzzles are the Zebra Puzzle in its oldest shape: a row of houses, each with a colour and three other attributes, and clues that describe the arrangement without stating it. Puzzleship keeps four attributes throughout and stretches the row up to eight houses.
About House Puzzles (Puzzleship)
House Puzzles line up houses side by side. Each has a colour and three other attributes that change from puzzle to puzzle, such as pets, instruments, drinks or cars, and nothing repeats, so every assignment removes that item from the other houses. Clues either name a house or describe who lives next to whom.
Where most Zebra Puzzles grow by adding attributes, these grow by adding houses: four at the easy end, rising one at a time to eight at the hardest. You mark cells in a grid, crossing out and assigning, and cells that become impossible are crossed out for you.
Puzzleship publishes six puzzles of House Puzzles a day, graded from very easy to ultra hard. Each day's puzzles are numbered and dated, the same for every player, and appear at midnight in your own time zone; earlier days stay playable in the archive. The site is free with ads, and a premium plan removes them.
How to play House Puzzles (Puzzleship)
- Open House Puzzles and pick one of the day's six puzzles.
- Sort the clues: apply those naming a specific house first.
- Tap a cell once to cross it out, twice to assign it, a third time to clear it.
- Use relational clues to cross out more cells as the row fills.
- Finish when every house has one item from each attribute.
Tips
- Cross out early; most clues rule something out even when they place nothing.
- Somewhere to the left removes one item from the last house and the other from the first.
- Treat two items linked by a clue as one unit.
- Being next to an end house leaves only one neighbour.
