Einstein Riddles daily puzzles on Puzzleship

Einstein Riddles are the classic Zebra Puzzle: a row of houses, each with a colour and other attributes, and a list of statements that fit only one arrangement. You pick each item straight into its house, and items already placed elsewhere drop out of the menus.

About Einstein Riddles (Puzzleship)

Einstein Riddles, also called Einstein Puzzles, put a row of houses side by side. Each house has a colour and a few other attributes, such as a nationality, a pet or a breakfast, and every item belongs to exactly one house. The clues mix direct placements with relations like next to or somewhere to the left of, and together they allow a single arrangement.

Puzzleship's version lets you choose each answer directly from the house it belongs to, with an emoji beside each item so clues and houses are easy to match. Sizes grow with difficulty, from four houses and four attributes up to five houses with seven, and the attributes change from puzzle to puzzle. The wording matters: next to means either side, while directly to the left pins the pair together.

Puzzleship publishes six riddles of Einstein Riddles a day, graded from very easy to ultra hard. Each day's riddles are numbered and dated, the same for every player, and appear at midnight in your own time zone; earlier days stay playable in the archive. The site is free with ads, and a premium plan removes them.

How to play Einstein Riddles (Puzzleship)

  1. Open Einstein Riddles and pick one of the day's six puzzles.
  2. Read the whole clue list first and find clues that name a house number.
  3. Pick items into houses from each house's menu; placed items leave the other menus.
  4. Apply relational clues once you have a fixed point.
  5. Finish when every house has one item from every attribute.

Tips

  • Start from clues that mention a house number.
  • Next to means one house either way; directly to the left pins the order.
  • Keep track of exclusions even though the board only records answers.
  • When an attribute is placed everywhere but one house, the last item is settled.
