Deducto 2 is a first-person social deduction game by Red Fox Studios, in which up to 16 co-workers try to find the imposters among them. Between matches, its Daily Challenge sets a new generated parkour course each day, the same for everyone, and ranks the fastest times on a leaderboard.

About Deducto 2

Deducto 2 is a social deduction party game made by Red Fox Studios and released on Steam for Windows in June 2023, the follow-up to their free game Deducto. Up to 16 players work in an office, a construction site, a casino and other workplace maps, doing tasks while one or more imposters try to sabotage and backstab them. Bodies get reported, meetings are called and the group votes out whoever it suspects. Proximity voice chat, vents, traps, cameras and workplace roles such as a detective shape each match.

The lobby, where players wait for a match, is a game of its own. You can customise your desk and character, draw on a whiteboard and run parkour courses. One of them is the Daily Challenge: a procedurally generated course that changes every day. Everyone gets the same course that day, so times on its leaderboard can be compared directly, and a patch at launch stopped the course from changing while a lobby was still open.

Alongside the daily there is a Biweekly Gym, a longer course that changes every two weeks, and a separate Parkour Mode with larger maps such as Docks and weekly modifiers. The developers still ran a Daily Challenge contest in July 2026, with a new course and a new winner each day.

The daily takes a minute or two a run and you can play it alone, which makes it the part of Deducto 2 you can enjoy even when few lobbies are open.

How to play Deducto 2

  1. Launch Deducto 2 and open or join a lobby.
  2. Go to the Daily Challenge parkour course in the lobby.
  3. Run, jump and climb from the start to the finish as fast as you can; the timer records your run.
  4. Retry to improve your time and check where you stand on the daily leaderboard.
  5. Come back the next day for a new course.

Tips

  • Run the course slowly once to learn the jumps before going for a time.
  • Leaderboard times gained an extra decimal place in a 2025 update, so even small shortcuts can move you up.
  • When the daily is done, try the Biweekly Gym, which stays the same for two weeks and rewards practice.

Questions

Is the Deducto 2 daily course the same for everyone?

Yes. It is a new randomised course each day shared by all players, which is why the developers can run contests with a winner for each day's course.

Do I need other players for the Daily Challenge?

No. The parkour course is a solo time trial that you can run in the lobby; the social deduction matches are what need a group.

Is Deducto 2 free?

No. It is a paid game on Steam for Windows. The first Deducto is free.
